Information for individuals

Thanks to the support of many sponsors and donors in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, the World Child Care Foundation has already been able to improve the living conditions of children and young people within our projects. These are still simple conditions in our Western eyes, but quite acceptable by the standards of the country. We would like to continue to improve those conditions and we can only do that with sufficient financial resources. You can support our work in various ways.

One-time donation

It is virtually impossible for us to bring or ship materials to Myanmar. Fortunately, almost everything is for sale in Myanmar for significantly lower prices than in the Netherlands. Thanks to your one-time financial donation, we can buy the necessary materials on site. With this you not only support our projects, but also local entrepreneurs. Naturally, we only buy our materials from private companies and not from government-owned companies.

Child sponsorship

To support the living groups The Golden House and The Hostel, you can sponsor a child. This concerns healthy food, clothing and school supplies. Of course, the money benefits the entire group. Monthly sponsorship is possible for 10, 20 or 30 euros per month. If you like, we can connect you to a specific child in our residential groups, but not necessarily.

If you want to sponsor a specific child, you will receive a welcome letter containing the (contact) details and photo of your sponsored child. You can then maintain personal contact with your sponsor child by e-mail, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. It is also possible to give a small present for your sponsor child when one of the board members or volunteers visits the project. If you would like to visit your sponsor child in Myanmar in the future, we will be happy to help you. That will be truly an unforgettable experience for you and your child.

The World Child Care Foundation guarantees that your money will be spent 100% on site. You can transfer your one-off donation or periodic donation, but also your monthly contribution for child sponsorship to account number NL22 INGB 0005 1176 35 in the name of. ANBI

The World Child Care Foundation is ANBI registered. ANBI is the Dutch quality mark for Public Benefit Institutions. This means that - if you live in the Netherlands - you can get a partial refund of donations and donations from the Tax and Customs Administration.
