Information for churches

Every year, a few parishes and municipalities are active for our projects. This often happens in Advent or Lent. Another period is of course also possible.

Sponsor forms

A sponsor project in your parish or municipality can take various forms. Below are some examples:

• Norbertus parish in Berlicum → Collection during the carnival celebration
• Protestant congregation of Berlicum-Rosmalen → Coffee drinking campaign
• Team First Holy Communion in Rosmalen → Bob-for-a-job
• Lambertus and Laurentius Church in Rosmalen → Theme celebrations with door collection

Support & Awareness

Depending on the chosen concept, the workgroup of the parish or congregation receives support from the World Child Care Foundation. Until now, every sponsorship project started with imaging and awareness. A volunteer of the foundation gives a presentation for the churchgoers, the volunteers and/or the communicants. He or she tells fascinating stories about the project, tailors the story to the age and perception of the target group and shows small interesting films. Of course there is also an opportunity to ask questions.

Developed material

All kinds of material has been developed about our projects in Myanmar. The material is constantly being updated and if there are specific wishes, customization is provided. The material can be translated into English on request.

Spending of the sponsor money

The World Child Care Foundation guarantees that 100% of the collected sponsor money will be spent on site. As parish or congregation, you can make agreements with us in advance about the approach of the sponsor campaign and what the money should be spent on. That is of course one of the goals as described on our website. We do ask for some leeway in this, because the situation on site is also subject to change.

When the sponsor campaign has been completed, you as a parish or congregation can transfer the money to account number NL22 INGB 0005 1176 35 in the name of. World Child Care Foundation in the town of Rosmalen. The bank's BIC code is INGBNL2A.
